Ok so this is my beautiful niece Nevaeh Grace. She was born on May 21st. You know someone had told me that my heart would grow when I saw her, but I was not ready for this. I can't even discirbe the the love I feel for her. I could be content to just hold her all day to be honest.
Anyway, that is just the beginning of the craziness around here. Like I stated in the last post I am now a TN citizen. That was a scavenger hunt and a half to accomplish. Here they don't do the plates and licensing at the same place. I had to drive like 5 min to get my plates, then drive like 40 to get my drivers license done. Oh and we have to pass and emissions test here. But it was worth it. I still think Ohio has one of the better looking drivers licenses.
On another topic, work has been crazy busy lately. God has truly blessed me with this job. Pray that I would be a willing giver of the things He blesses me with. I would loved to be used in anyway possible. Back to work, we have a huge opportunity to possibly break into the downtown (high end) housing market here in Nashville. Pray that we would make wise decisions, and that we would let God work thru our gifts.
Well, I believe that is all for now. I'll be back in the O-H-I-O in 12 days for Dan and Molly's wedding. Can't wait for that!! I'm so excited for you guys!!!
P.S. We found the pug a home, so she is no longer with us

So I am officially a Vol now!!!! 6 months and a bajillion dollars later. Geez it cost way to much to volunteer to be a citizen of TN
Anyway, Just thought I would throw up a a quick post. There will be some more posting soon. Have a good one!!!

Ok, so here's the story.... First let me explain the title for this post. This puppy is about a foot long and about 3/4 of a foot high. You have seen pics of our other dog Simba. She is roughly 20 times bigger than this dog. For some reason this dog thinks she can take on Simba. She terrorizes Simba constantly. She runs a loop around her till Simba has had enough. Now Simba had a bad experience with a little dog at the dog park a while back. Labs are not known for being aggressive. But, Simba was attacked, and summarily learned that she is much, much bigger and can do some damage to little dogs. We were a bit worried because of this, but Simba has been very patient and mostly gentle.
Ok, so here's the story. This puppy wondered onto the property where my one roommate works. She felt bad for it, and asked if it would be ok if we cared for it till it had a home (one of the ladies she works with wants her). Of course you can't say no to this face!! I almost got sucked in myself and thought about keeping the dog as my own. Alas, for her to stay permanently with us would be a bad fit. She is very, very, oh did I mention she's VERY needy. And, we are all very busy, and not home much. She would end up acting out and misbehaving because she doesn't have the attention she needs. So, someday I will get my dog. But now is not that day. She is the sweetest thing though. She loves to cuddle in your lap and fall asleep. Ok enough mush. Have a good one.

I took a trip (he only lives like 25 miles from me, but it feels like forever so that is why I use the word "trip") down to my brothers house this weekend. He had invited me down for dinner with himself and what I thought was just going to be my sister-in-law. I got there and apparently it was an unplanned family shindig. To get back to my story. The picture above is what was seen when my sister-in-law went to open up the grill to start it up. I have never seen a nest that big in my life. The bird seems to have flown in the backside of the grill. The cover was left off, leaving it open. My brother was not too happy. I just think he was more worried about his wife getting sick from cooking on the grill than anything. We disinfected the grill and had a wonderful dinner. We even had corn on the cob. And it was good!!! See down here corn on the cob is awful. Apparently this was shipped in from another state. I really miss living close to the rest of the fam. They are great people, and have made my transition so much easier. Anyway, just thought I would share that random pic with you.
I'm deciding whether or not to go to a concert or bible study tonight. I think I'm going to do the responsible thing thought... I'll let you guess what that is It's Tuesday. I hope you all have had a great start to the week. Take care of yourself. And, random aside, I'm going hiking this weekend!!! I can't wait!!

So, I ended up getting sick of the 4 walls in my room, and not being able to go to kickboxing tonight. This is where I ended up. This is about a 5 minute drive and an amazing hike away from my home. I'm still recovering from the weekend. And this week looks like it's going to eat me alive, and it's only Monday night. If you think about me, please pray for me. My life is getting much MUCH busier these days. It's not a bad thing. Just a big adjustment for me. Pray that God would send me pockets of time where I can go on hikes and get away like I did tonight. Tomorrow it's back to the real world. Kickboxing and all!!!
